Every photograph is unique and will need to be evaluated individually in order to assess the time it takes to restore it. Our quote will be determined by aspects such as:

  • Your specific instructions
  • Your choice of the range of options we have on offer (please refer to the table below)
  • The extent and type of damage there is on the photograph/image
  • The level of details in the photograph/image
  • The overall size of the photograph/image.

Basic Restorations
  • Image sharpening.
  • Removal of red-eye effect
  • Image Cropping
  • Image conversion to black & white or sepia.
  • Restoring faded or discoloured photos that otherwise are intact e.g. photos that have aged and turned yellowish or reddish in color.
  • Removal of a few minor scratches or blemishes.
  • Restoration of small tears, missing corners, backgrounds and other areas which do not contain detailed objects.

    Medium-Level Restorations
  • Removal of scratches, blemishes and creases in areas which do not contain detailed objects.
  • Restoration of larger tears, missing corners, backgrounds and other areas which do not contain major detailed objects.
  • Minor cut-outs/removal of objects and people e.g. part of a person showing up in the background.
  • Minor cut-outs for the removal and replacement of the background.

    High-Level/Complex Restorations
  • Removal of complex scratches, blemishes and creases - including areas with a moderate amount of detailed objects.
  • Restoration of major tears, backgrounds and other areas - including some detailed objects.
  • Cut-outs/removal and replacement of significantly sized objects and full sized people.
  • Reconstruction of missing or damaged areas, including serious fading.
  • Colorization of photos with only a modest number of differently colored areas.
  • Complex cut-outs for the removal and replacement of the background.
  • Restoration of photos displaying large groups.
